皆さん初めまして！
DAIWAオーストラリアのTaka Kawasaki（川崎猛宏）です！

この度、SALTIGAグローバル開発陣として奔走させて頂く事となりました。

釣りバカ一家に産まれ、若い頃にバスプロとして活躍していた父に教わり小さい頃はバス釣りに励みました。

14歳の時に留学で渡豪、1年後には帰国となる予定でしたが、予定通りには行かず気がつけば18年。

夢のビッグゲームフィールドとして名高いグレートバリアリーフをメインフィールドとし、GTやキングフィッシュ(ヒラマサ)などの大物狙いのソルトルアーフィッシングを中心にオーストラリアの大自然を満喫しています。

現在はDAIWAオーストラリアのR&D(Research & Development)課に勤め、豪州、ニュージーランド向けの商品開発を行い、DAIWA製品の素晴らしさをアングラーの方々へ伝えられる様、日々活動しております。

日本とは一味も二味も違ったオーストラリアから、SALTIGAレポートを皆さんと共有出来るよう頑張りますので宜しくお願い致します！

Hi everyone,
My name is Taka Kawasaki and I have been given a privilege to work along the side with 20 Saltiga R&D team from Daiwa Japan.
To give you a background of myself, I have moved to Australia when I was 14 years old as an exchange student, the original stay was meant to be for a year then I have decided the life in Australia suits my lifestyle more and this year is my 18th year in Australia. I currently work for Daiwa Australia as an Assistant Product Planner to produce fishing tackle which is suitable for Australia and NZ markets. I was born and raised by farther who's a super keen fisherman himself. He has taught me everything I know and even at this age, I still have many more to learn from him.
My part in this project was mainly to help the communication between Japan and AUS/NZ as well as to analyze the data from the field test report and development data from the development team. Throughout this process, I have learnt "how" and "why" the new 20Saltiga is the best versatile Large SW Reel. I also got to see the insight of what is involved to create something great.

If I have to choose myself a favorite type of fishing, I would say that chasing saltwater pelagic in Great Barrier Reef in Far North Queensland of Australia.
The thrill of having to chase large saltwater pelagic gives me the excitement nothing else can. 20 Saltiga would suit perfectly to what type of fishing I do around the Great Barrier Reef.
I am very excited to be on the team and I look forward to sharing some of my field reports with 20Saltiga through this Blog.
